For sale is this attractive British Art Deco standing nude figurine. It has a registration mark: 781893 which would mean it was likely cast in 1931. I believe the statue is an allegory of Eve holding an apple behind her back. The figurine has a bowl at the base of her feet presumably to put coins or keys on a hallway table. The statuette is cast in a heavy white metal, a mix between pewter and spelter and has been painted a lovely pale green/blue paint. The statue stands about 10 1/2 inches or 27.5 centimeters tall. It weighs 650 grams. It is in reasonably good condition with its original paint but many paint chips as well as an epoxy repair or reinforcement on the bottom of the lady\'s feet. Minor wear and tear throughout from handling over time. Please refer to photos.
