Louisa Goodman Bear Pottery Figural Navajo Native American Indian Southwest Folk For Sale

Offering a pottery bear by Navajo potter Louisa Goodman (1937-2015). Louisa's bears are her signature pots. She was one of the master crafters of her own unique Navajo ceramic tradition.
The bear stands 7.5 x 5.5". Her pottery creations are almost never signed. This comes from a collection in which the couple purchased most of their pots directly from the artists, but this one might have been bought in a gallery (circa 1990). Original price of $80 is tagged on the base. Overall condition excellent: some standard wear for Louisa's works.
