Since all of these items are inside the frame, I am not able to inspect them. Metal\'s can get tarnished over the many decades. So keep in mind that I CANNOT give you a 100% perfect description of each and every item.
I willcut open the back of each frame and carefully cut out the entire Burlapmaterial and VERY GENTLY I will try to fold all the Insignias together. I will try not to remove each Insignia fromthe Brass pins that attach each one to the Burlap material and into whatever isbehind the Burlap material. Its possiblethere is some kind of soft sheet behind the burlap material, so that’s how thepins are pinned into.
NOTE: I do not know what is the condition of eachitem on the reverse side. As per the picturesyou see, all are neatly pinned to the burlap board. Not sure if the items are glued or have anykind of tape on the back side. Sellingall as is. A couple in couple ofdifferent frames have come off and fallen or moved, so there is no glue on theback that we know of, as these came off the pins.
I will domy best to use soft tissue paper to protect the Insignia, and specially themetal badges, when I fold the entire burlap material with all of the Insignia’sand Badges.
I am notselling these with the Frames. If youwould like the frames as well. Pleaselet me know in advance and if you win the sale, then you can come by myplace and pick them all up, frame and all.I will not sell and ship the frames, and I will not break the insigniaand badges into smaller lots. As youcan see, all of these are very well protected for many, many decades by andUncle of mine who used to collect these when he was stationed in the militaryin Europe. He took great care to frameall of these, as you can very well see.I am sure because all these are framed they are very well protectedagainst the elements, dust and whatever else.
I tookthese pictures in the sunlight, so that’s why you see some reflection and myhand shadow while taking the pictures.
