The Völkischer Beobachter served as the official newspaper of the National Socialist German Workers\' Party (NSDAP) from 1920 until 1945. Initially issued on a weekly basis, it transitioned to a daily publication starting February 1923. The paper was known for its aggressive, propagandistic style, prioritizing agitation over neutral reporting, and described itself as a \"battle sheet\" distinct from more traditional newspapers. After a suspension following Adolf Hitler\'s arrest in the aftermath of the failed Beer Hall Putsch in late 1923, the newspaper resumed publication in early 1925, coinciding with the party’s reorganization.
