Lot of 4 Antique Southern Pacific Steamship SS Momus Forks in the Westfield Pattern
2 are monogrammed SS Momus and are made by Meriden Brita Co, one of these is marked SP Co
2 are made by International Silver and are marked SP Co
1 measures 8", 1 measures 7" and the other 2 measure 7 1/2" long
SS Momus was built by SP Co in 1905/06 and placed in operation in Dec 1906.It was a combination freight/passenger steamer of 6878 tons, also part of the Atlantic Fleet, running between New Orleans and New York
Fresh from an estate in Atlanta and as found, we have not cleaned or polished these pieces! See photos for additional details.
