RARE - Lot of 2 Vintage 1985 Volkswagen Dealer Promotional Jigsaw Puzzles in Original Canister Tubes - Golf & Jetta
Super rare dealer promo set from the launch of the 1985 VW Mk2. These were given to customers at VW dealerships in 1985. Both puzzles feature the famous tagline \"IT\'S NOT A CAR. IT\'S A VOLKSWAGEN.\"
This is a must-have for any VW Mk2, Golf, Jetta, or Volkswagen memorabilia collector.
CONDITION - PLEASE READ:
THE 1985 GOLF Puzzle: Incomplete. ONE corner piece missing. I assembled the puzzle to verify - it is missing the top right corner piece as shown in photos. All other pieces are present and assemble cleanly. Puzzle shows light age wear, but colors are still bright and glossy.
THE 1985 JETTA Puzzle: Appears COMPLETE. Assembled with no missing pieces visible in photos. I have not done a piece-by-piece count so selling as-is, but it looks to be all there.
Canisters / Tubes: Original cardboard canister tubes with plastic lids. Both show age/shelf wear - light scuffs, edge wear, and yellowing on lids consistent with 40 years of storage. See first photo. They still display great.
Overall good vintage collectible condition. Sold as a collectible display piece, not as a new toy.
