Lot of 13 original YANK The Army Weekly magazines from 1945.
These were published by the U.S. Army during World War II for enlisted servicemen and contain original wartime photographs, illustrations, cartoons, military stories, news and other period content.
All 13 magazines shown in the photos are included. These are original 1945 issues, not reproductions.
These have been in storage for many years and are being sold in their current condition.
Condition:
The magazines were stored folded in half, so each issue has a noticeable crease/fold through the center. Some folds are heavier than others, and some of the magazines do not lay completely flat.
They also show normal age and storage wear including staining, spotting, yellowing, discoloration, worn edges and corners, creases, small tears and general paper wear. Some issues have mailing/address labels attached.
They have a typical old-paper smell from age and storage, but I do not notice a mildew smell.
The magazines appear to be mostly complete, but I have not counted or verified every page in every issue. Because of their age, I cannot guarantee that every page, insert or section is present.
Please look closely at all photos for the individual covers, dates and overall condition. The photos are part of the description and show the center folds and storage wear.
These are approximately 80-year-old WWII-era magazines and are being sold as found.
