The Women’s Community Committee is a group of 40 women. It is a non-profit, all volunteer community service organization that has served Norwood, Massachusetts for 100 years.The committee sponsors several scholarships through the Norwood Scholarship Foundation, supports the museum pass program at Morrill Memorial Library and donates to groups like Norwood Meals on Wheels, the Circle of Hope Foundation and the Norwood Ecumenical Community Food Pantry.
The WCC Thrift Shop began using as a vehicle to sell items of a higher value that are unlikely to sell in a thrift shop that normally sells used clothing and housewares. Lately we are receiving unique donated items some of which are brand new and in their original box or with their original tags still attached. There will be more items to follow.
