Boma, a Canadian company based in North Vancouver, produces totem poles and other giftware and collectibles. Boma works with Indigenous artists to create designs for their products, sometimes using drawings or finished pieces. Boma also makes museum quality reproductions of Haida argillite totem poles, which are considered some of the finest examples of totemic art. These reproductions are made from a natural resin composite to match the weight and finish of the originals. The Canadian Museum of History (CMH) licenses some of Boma's reproductions, which include a medallion and the museum's collection ID number on the back for authenticity.
