This set is in solid vintage condition with a beautiful aged character, but they do show cosmetic signs of age and storage wear.

• Lacquer/Varnish Wear: Both ducks have areas where the original shiny outer clear lacquer finish has peeled/flaked away, revealing the lighter, raw matte wood underneath (most noticeable on the side/back of the taller duck and the head of the shorter duck).

• Nicks & Scratches: The shorter duck has some distinct small cosmetic nicks on the top/side of its head. There are minor superficial surface scratches scattered throughout both pieces.

• Hairline Crack: The taller duck features a natural hairline age split/crack running vertically along the left side of its back following the natural wood grain. This is purely cosmetic; the piece is completely structurally sound, rock-solid, and stable.
