Lot 8 Antique Czech Champleve Enamel Buttons Filigree Triangle 1920s Art Deco For Sale

Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible lot of eight antique Czechoslovakian stamped brass filigree buttons dating from the 1920s to 1930s Art Deco era. This cohesive set features an intricate, openwork geometric triangle motif over a domed base, highlighted by original hand-painted cold enamel detailing in red and light blue. The lot is ideally sized for garment restoration or vintage tailoring projects, containing two large focal buttons measuring approximately 3/4" in diameter and six smaller accent buttons measuring approximately 1/2" in diameter. All eight pieces retain their original, sturdy loop shanks intact on the reverse side.

Please review the condition carefully prior to purchasing, as these items are being sold in original, uncleaned antique condition. While the two larger focal buttons retain excellent, crisp enamel coloring, there is noticeable paint loss, chipping, and fading on the raised tops of most of the smaller 1/2" buttons due to a century of age and handling. The brass filigree structural housings themselves remain structurally sound with a lovely historic patina.
