Large lot of vintage transportation and trucking company matchbooks featuring a variety of freight carriers, regional transport companies, and shipping-related graphics. A great collection for matchbook collectors, transportation memorabilia enthusiasts, trucking history buffs, or anyone interested in vintage advertising.
The lot includes a variety of designs and company names, including Bruce Motor Freight, FTC Transportation, Toedebusch Transfer Inc., Gordon’s Transports Inc., Cantlay & Tanzola Transportation, Hyman Freightways Inc., P.I.E. (Pacific Intermountain Express), DC, Cassell, and other regional freight and shipping companies. Additional designs feature trucking illustrations, transportation routes, terminal locations, and company service areas.
Many of the matchbooks appear to be NOS (new old stock) and remain in their original packaging or protective wrapping. They display colorful period advertising, distinctive typography, company logos, and vintage truck graphics.
