Up for sale is a unique collector lot of TWO (2) genuine, vintage 1776–1976 United States Bicentennial booster vanity license plates. Both plates are heavy, solid pieces of authentic historical Americana crafted by the renowned Dent Manufacturing foundry based out of Northampton, Pennsylvania.

Unlike common cheap stamped-tin or plastic novelty plates from 1976, these are heavy, 1/4-inch-thick & 5/16-inch-thick sand-cast aluminum blocks featuring bold 3D embossed relief work. Both plates carry the official \"DENT MFG NORTHAMPTON PA\" factory stamp on the back.

Plate Breakdown & Weight Specs:

• Plate #1 (Dark Charcoal Background): Weighs a substantial 3 lbs 0 oz (5/16\" thick). This plate is in excellent structural condition. It features a clean vintage custom repaint with a dark charcoal background and beige/yellow lettering. The paint is well-adhered and exhibits great shelf contrast.

• Plate #2 (Light Sky Blue Accents / Red Rim): Weighs 1 lb 1.4 oz (1/4\" thick). This plate features a highly stylized vintage folk-art repaint with eye-catching sky blue flags and thick golden-yellow accents. This specific plate shows significant, authentic environmental weathering and pitting on the unpainted metal surface (especially on the reverse side), giving it a wonderful, rugged garage-worn patina.
