This lot includes two vintage Popeye Sailor Man Statues. These figures are made of chalkware and one is marked FS36 so I read this one was made in 1936 or close to it. These original pieces are perfect for any collector of animation merchandise and figures & statues.
The statues show MANY SIGNS of use and wear, but they still retain their original charm and uniqueness.
The tall, one which measures over 14 1/2 inches has a very damaged neck, but it is still intact. They both have a number of chips here and there. Their paint has faded some but these are really fun collectibles
They both have a place for Popeyes smoking pipe, but there are no pipes included.
