Gorgeous antique Limoges hair receiver with both base and matching lid, hand-painted for the Pitkin & Brooks Studio of Chicago. Decorated with soft Art Nouveau floral sprays in pastel lavender, pink, yellow, and green on a warm ivory ground, with gilt accents around the top opening, lid edge, and base.
The underside bears the green T&V Limoges France mark (Tressemann & Vogt, circa 1892–1907) along with the red Pitkin & Brooks Studio script, confirming American studio-decorated Limoges on a French porcelain blank. This is the complete set with its original matching lid.
Measures approximately 4\" wide x 2.25\" tall.
Condition:
This hair receiver is in excellent antique condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs. The hand-painted floral decoration is vibrant and well preserved, and the gilt accents remain bright with only light, age-appropriate wear. The lid fits properly and matches the base.
