This is an authentic Limoges Peint Main trinket box from the Rochard atelier, depicting Santa Claus in his red hooded coat, cradling a golden teddy bear in his arms. Santa’s face is warmly painted with rosy cheeks and a full white beard, and he stands atop a deep blue snow-swept base trimmed in gold beading. The hinge is secured with a gold-tone leaping reindeer clasp, and the interior lid carries a delicate gold-outlined gift box motif.
The underside carries the Rochard signature, hand-inscribed “Peint main, Rochard, Limoges, France,” confirming both the atelier and the authenticity of this piece.
Measures approximately 4 x 1.5 inches. Excellent condition. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description.
