Beautiful set of two Lena Liu limited-edition floral collector plates produced by W.S. George Fine China in 1993. These coordinating plates feature Lena Liu’s romantic floral artwork with richly detailed borders and gold accents. Although from different Lena Liu collections, they display beautifully together.
The set includes “Magic Makers,” the first issue in Lena Liu’s Flower Fairies collection. This fine porcelain plate is embellished with fairy-wing borders decorated with 22-karat gold and was issued in an edition limited to a maximum of 95 firing days.
Also included is “Magnolias,” the ninth issue in Lena Liu’s Basket Bouquets collection. It features a lush basket arrangement of magnolias and other flowers and was adapted from an original Lena Liu painting on silk. Its edition was limited to a maximum of 150 firing days.
Both plates are marked on the reverse with their titles, collection information, W.S. George Fine China mark, Lena Liu information, plate numbers and ©1993 date.
Gold-tone wire plate hangers shown in the photos are included, making the pair ready for wall display.
These would be beautiful in a romantic floral gallery wall or with Grandmillennial, Cottagecore, English Country, Victorian-inspired or traditional décor.
Condition: Both plates are in excellent pre-owned condition with no chips or cracks observed. Please review all photographs for exact condition. These are decorative collector plates and are marked “not for food use.”
