Late 18th Early 19th Century Saltillo Serape w/ Historically Added Fringe For Sale

This is a beautiful Saltillo Serape with historically 19th century applied fringe. The serape is estimated to be from the late 18th century early 19th century. This is a vibrant and beautiful serape with the interior diamond going into the border. Purple is really hard to find and this has a lustrous natural purple dye in it. There has been some edge damage where the fringe has now been placed over it. The border is still intact in this region so it\'s mostly complete and very beautiful. This Serape is very fairly priced. All of the following measurements are approximate. Including the fringe the serape is approximately 106 1/2\" X 45 1/2\". Without the fringe the serape is 91\" X 45 1/2\". This is a stunning and unique Saltillo Serape!
