This GORGEOUS cotton 30's dogwood quilt is hand appliqued and hand quilted, with hand embroidered accents and a scalloped edge. Also included are a bed skirt and two hand stitched and hand embroidered pillow shams.It measures 76"X 90" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear.There is quilting around the applique and in grid, feathered, and straight line designs in the background, all at an even 7-8 stitches to the inch.
The back is white, the hand stitched binding is blue,and the batting is thin. The quilt came out of Sanger, California.
