LARGE CLEAR QUARTZ CRYSTAL POINTS CLUSTER

An impressive natural quartz cluster displaying a broad, densely crystallised face of intergrown points, presented upright on a clear acrylic display base with metal supports.
Larger prismatic crystals project above closely packed groups of smaller points, creating a richly textured landscape of overlapping crystals, open pockets and bright, reflective faces. The irregular outline and varied crystal orientations give the specimen considerable depth, with different features coming into view as the viewing angle changes.
The quartz ranges from transparent, colourless areas to softer translucent and milky-white growth. Clearer tips contrast with the paler supporting quartz, while glassy faces alternate with finely textured and lightly frosted surfaces. Directional light brings out the prism edges, pointed terminations and natural internal veils.
Rather than a uniform arrangement, the display face combines crossing points, short sprays and compact crystal groups. Smaller crystals fill the spaces around the more prominent growth, producing an intricate composition that rewards close examination as well as viewing from a distance.
The reverse photograph shows the supporting mineral plate and its flatter contact surface. Together, the front, side, close-up and reverse views provide a useful record of the specimen’s natural form and visible condition.
