Large Chinese porcelain decorative charger featuring colorful famille-rose-style decoration. The design depicts children in traditional clothing surrounded by flowers, fruit, foliage, butterflies, and auspicious objects on a pale celadon-green patterned ground. Finished with a gold-tone rim.
The underside bears a red six-character mark reading “Da Qing Tongzhi Nian Zhi,” meaning “Made during the Tongzhi reign of the Great Qing dynasty.” This appears to be a later decorative piece bearing a Tongzhi-style mark and is not represented as an original 1862–1874 antique.
A label on the underside states: “For Decorative Purposes Only—Not For Food Use.”
Preowned condition with expected surface and underside wear from display and storage. There is sticker/adhesive residue and some discoloration or scuffing on the underside. Please examine all photographs carefully for the exact condition.
