Large Antique Cambridge Electric Company Business Ephemera Lot Checks Reports For Sale

Up for offer is a large antique ephemera lot consisting primarily of items related to the Cambridge Electric Light Company founded in 1886 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The lot consists of the following:
1) 45 cancelled checks from the Cambridge Electric Light Company from Cambridge, Massachusetts. All of the checks were written in 1899 and were drawn on the Mercantile Trust Company, which appears to have become the Market National Bank of Boston later in 1899. It seems both of these banks had name changes or short histories, as I could find few references to them. Most of the checks appear to have been written to other area businesses and were all signed by Francis Raymond, the Treasurer of the Cambridge Electric Company. The checks are all punch cancelled, written in ink and affixed with a 2 cent Documentary stamp.
2) 65 Cambridge Electric Light Company stockholder proxy voting forms with checklist dated 1914.
3) 8 Cambridge Electric Light Company booklets - "Description of Plant" dated February, 1905. 43 pages of text and photos, including an attached panoramic view of Cambridge, Massachusetts. While I am not an authority, I believe these booklets would have been given to members of the Board of Directors, along with stockholders and other important business people at the time.
4) Copy of a panoramic photograph of the 1923 First Annual Outing of the employees of the Cambridge Gas Light Company. It is folded
5) 8 handwritten letters dated, January 30, 1888, inviting the eight Cambridge Electric Company Board of Directors to a special board meeting.
6) "More Kilowatts for Cambridge" publication featuring Reddy Kilowatt on the cover, dated 1949. It has 8 pages of text and illustrations highlighting Cambridge Electric's new steam/electric generating station.A little wear on cover with a bent corner.
7) 15 copies of large photographs of Cambridge Electric Company facilities, as well as other Massachusetts power companies.
8) Blueprint drawing by the Babcock & Wilcox Company of a sectional side of a Class 23 #40 Single Westinghouse Stoker for Cambridge Electric Company. Some minor staining and creased edge.
9) 1952 Report of the Cambridge Electric Light Company. 13 pages consisting of financial statements and company news of importance throughout the year. Has a water stain on the cover and on the upper right edge of all pages.
10) Engineer's I. Q. Test from the National Engineer. 22 pages of questions and answers printed in 1938. Water staing on cover and upper right edge of all pages. Cover wear.
11) Practical Steam Engineering - Assignment XIX dated 1923. 12 pages of instruction material for home study. Fair condition with some cover tears.
12) 2 old Crosby Steam Gage & Valve Company Installation and Instruction manuals for their nozzle type safety valves. 23 page Instruction booklet dated 1939. Both have moisture/storage discoloration.
13) 2 US Postal Cards sent to the Cambridge Electric Company dated 1887 and 1888. One has a crease.
14) Terms and Conditions booklet for the Cambridge Electric Light Company dated September 15, 1956
