Large 12" Fontanini Simonetti 1983 19 Pc Nativity Manger Set Donkey Mary Jesus!

This large 12 inch scale Fontanini Simonetti nativity scene is an ultra rare find for collectors to include this many pieces all together. Please note I'm including two expensive Persian tapestry materials as well to use as a ground covering and Middle Eastern backdrop to complement and display beautifully the ancient figures.. They each measure about 49 inches long by 28 inches deep and they are both double sided with the red weaving on one side and the geometric gold thread design on the other. They look very much like materials and fancy linen from Jesus' day. Including the two tapestries, there are 19 pieces total. Most of the big figures and animals have also a Fontanini gold sticker on the bottom. Most of the figures are signed both by Fontanini and Simonetti and all have dates of 1983 of those that display dates. The large animals are 10 inches in length and the kneeling Mary and Joseph are 9 inches and 9.5 inches in height respectively.All the standing figure are averaging 12 inches. They are all inVery good vintage condition overall with no chips or breaks with some slight soiling in crevice areas. Joseph's staff was missing so I put in a wooden walking stick that fits his hand and can be trimmed down to desired height. Baby Jesus' crib is a slightly smaller size but baby Jesus fits and looks well enough in it. It will be securely packed and bubble wrapped when shipped.
