Designed by Monika Backström for Kosta Boda in 2004, this solid crystal sculpture is one of three designs created for the Kaleidoscope series. Bold ribbons of orange, red, yellow, black, and clear crystal converge into a dramatic optical burst at the base, creating a mesmerizing interplay of color, depth, and light from every angle. The substantial rectangular form showcases Backström's mastery of optical effects and Scandinavian glass design. Signed by the artist and etched with the Kosta Boda mark, it is a striking example of contemporary Swedish art glass.
