Masonic Knights Templar sword, made between 1892-1894. The EA Armstrong Company was a military equipment supplier that became a fraternal regalia supplier. It was founded in Detroit MI in 1868, and moved to Chicago, IL in 1892, In 1894 it was acquired by the Ames Sword Company (a subsidiary of Ames Manufacturing).

Armstrong was a major military sword manufacturer. Most ceremonial swords they produced shared blades with "staff and field officer" swords from the civil war era. They are very fast, ultra light and flexible, they can be flexed over 90° and return true. These were among the best fraternal swords made.

Highly detailed and ornate

I DO NOT clean or polish antique items to retain its original patina, you may polish out any marks yourself if you choose - Sword has rub marks and slight oxidation in a couple spots that will polish out - NO pitted Rust
