One face depicts the King enthroned in ceremonial robes surrounded by allegorical figures, while the reverse displays the Royal Arms with crowned shield and supporters.Large original Great Seals such as this were attached to important Crown documents including royal grants, appointments, commissions, charters, and letters patent.
