The Blade Of The Sword Has Been Hand Forged Using The Ancient Method Of Sword Making . Full Hand Forged And Full Hand Polished,Unkubi Zukurai structure blade.The blade with this structure is extremely lethal, can increase the performance while reducing the weight of the blade, balance the center of gravity, greatly improve the feel, and can be controlled more easily.
The Blade Was Made Of T-10 High Carbon Steel, And It Has Been Laminated In A Maru Configuration(Single Type Mono Steel). Differential Hardened And Clay Tempered, Water Quenched And Polished.
The T-10 High Carbon Steel (The Steel Has A 0.1% Carbon Content And 0.4% Manganese.)Is Very Solid And Holds An Edge Well. This Blade Was Then Clay Tempered And Has More Than 14 Process Hand Sharpening Work. Very sharp.The Japanese Hamon Pattern Is Done In The Same Process As The Traditional Method. Harden The Edge Is By Using The Special Clay Wrapping The Blade Then Put In Water To Quench. It Requires A Lot Of Skills. The Fire Temperature Can Not Be Too High Or Too Low It Needs To Be Well Controlled By The Sword Smith. The Blade Is Then Put Into Water For Quenching. The Blade Shape Is Done This Process Creates Beautiful Hamon Hada And Martensite (Grains) On The Blade Surface. Clay To Protect The Edge And Quenched In Water To Temper The Mune Or Spine Of The Sword. The Hardness Of The Carbon Steel Measures At An Impressive HRC On The Rockwell Scale. This Tsuka is wooden one wrapped with genuine ray skin, and with silk ITO in the traditional wrap.
The Fuchi and Kashira on the tsuka are made of alloy with matching Menuki on each side as an ornament, two Mekugi (peg) are nailed to secure the Tasng of the sword. (Sword can be disassembled by picking up the two Mekusgi (peg).
This saya (sheath) of the sword is hard wooden,wrap the rattan by hand before painting,and lacquered superior paint to highly gloss the surface of it.It is not only non-slip but also has a good feel.The Sage-O is tied around the Kurikaka (knob) of the saya, the Koiguchi (scabbard mouth) and Kojiri (scabbard tip) has been hardened.NOTE::
1.A silk sword bag comes with the sword. but the wooden stand in below item pictures is NOT included.
2.Please do not store in a humid environment. When the sword is not in use, please keep the blade clean to ensure that there is no water stains, then wipe a layer of maintenance oil to prevent rust. If there is no special oil, use gasoline engine oil.
