Born into Nara’s prominent Tsujimura ceramic family, Kai trained under his father, the renowned Shiro Tsujimura, before establishing his independent studio in 2000.This guinomi features a characteristic earthy clay body with a distinct fiery orange coloration (hi-iro) contrasted by a dripping, pooling moss-green natural ash glaze (biidoro) from the wood-firing process.
