KPM Berlin Porcelain Kurland Pattern Decor 73 Lidded Dish Box Porzellan Dose For Sale

For sale is a large lidded box from the famous Kurland service made by KPM in the late 20th century . This is one of the best and most popular services of the 20th century and a personal favorite of mine. It\'s like an oversized sugar bowl but I think officially it is called a candy box or bonboniere that is decorated in the Decor 73 with the turquoise ground color under the golden garlands all around the center. It has a floral arrangement to the front and back surrounded by a gold wreath and the typical alternating white and turquoise stripes with a nice finial on the lid highlighted with gilding. A superb looking piece! This size can be used in any number of ways so it\'s nice to have. The dish is in perfect condition. It is 6 inches tall including the finial and about 5.125 inches in diameter at the widest part.
