K-ON Yui Hirasawa Ichiban Kuji Premium A Prize Figure Banpresto 2009 For Sale

A Yui Hirasawa figure from the very first year of the K-ON! anime — the 2009 A Prize from Banpresto’s original Ichiban Kuji Premium K-ON! release.

K-ON! first aired in 2009, and this figure followed in December of that same year. That places it right in the series’ original era—not years later as an anniversary release, but during the period when fans were first meeting Yui and the Light Music Club.

Yui is shown in her familiar Sakuragaoka High School uniform, with both a school bag and guitar case that can be swapped for display.

For K-ON! fans, this combination immediately brings back the early Yui: still a beginner, just starting her life in the Light Music Club and discovering the excitement of becoming its guitarist. Display her with the school bag for everyday school-life Yui, or switch to the guitar case for the Yui heading toward the music room as part of the Light Music Club.

That connection to the beginning of K-ON! is what gives this release its appeal. It is not simply another Yui figure—it is merchandise produced during the same year the first TV series aired, carrying the school-uniform look and everyday atmosphere of K-ON!’s earliest episodes.

Nearly 17 years after its release, this exact A Prize version is not something that appears constantly. Condition and completeness also vary across surviving examples.

This example retains its original retail box, school bag, and guitar case and is in good overall condition. For K-ON! fans—especially those outside Japan who never had the opportunity to encounter the original 2009 lottery release in person—it offers a chance to add a genuine early-era K-ON! item to the collection rather than only a modern release.
