Job Lot of 10 Genuine WW2 1939-45 War Medals - Full Size
This is a bulk lot of 10 original Second World War 1939-45 War Medals. All genuine full size medals.
Perfect lot for dealers and collectors.The War Medal 1939-45 was awarded to all full time personnel of the armed forces wherever they were serving. The medal was granted in addition to campaign stars and the Defence Medal.
Struck in cupro-nickel, the medal features the crowned effigy of King George VI on the obverse and a lion standing on a double-headed dragon on the reverse, symbolising victory over the Axis powers. It is complete with a good length of new replacement ribbon in red, white and blue — representing the colours of the Union Flag.
The medals were issued unnamed, as standard, and are in good collectable condition.
