This is a vintage calling card from the Jefferson County Camp, United Confederate Veterans (U.C.V.) located in Charles Town, West Virginia (notated as W. Va.), featuring an illustration of crossed historical flags. The United Confederate Veterans (U.C.V.) was an organization formed in 1889 for American Civil War veterans who had served in the Confederate forces.Jefferson County Camp: Led by figures such as Col. R. Preston Chew, the Jefferson County Camp actively commemorated Civil War history, notably erecting 25 concrete obelisks around Jefferson County around 1910 and publishing a historical pamphlet titled Military Operations in Jefferson County, Virginia (Now West Virginia), 1861-1865.
