Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Japanese double-gourd porcelain sake bottle (tokkuri), crafted by the mid-to-late 20th-century Gensho Kiln (Genshō-gama). The underside features the authentic, hand-painted underglaze blue signature of the kiln artist written in elegant cursive grass script (sosho).
This piece showcases a vibrant, highly stylized Yuzen floral textile motif heavily reminiscent of bold Kutani-ware aesthetics. The design features crisp white and rich cobalt blue flower blossoms layered over a striking emerald green backdrop, all meticulously highlighted with intricate gold leaf/gilt outlining. The iconic double-gourd (hyotan) silhouette serves as a traditional Japanese symbol for good health, luck, and household prosperity.

Condition:Very Good Vintage Condition with no Chips, Cracks, or Repairs. The white porcelain remains bright, and the colorful enamels are wonderfully vivid.
