This is a limited edition black & white photo print featuring Mark Goff\'s photograph of Janis Joplin at Woodstock in 1969. This 8.5x11 inch photo, unseen until after Goff\'s death in 2018, was brought to the public by the Mark Goff Estate Collection on the 50th anniversary of Woodstock in August 2019.This was released by his estate in the Mark Goff Collection and has a digitized stamp of Mark Goff\'s legal signature since these prints were made after his 2018 death. This is a number 25/100 first edition print, first batch. This stunning image was captured by veteran photojournalist Mark Goff from his official on-stage press vantage point during Janis’s legendary 2:00 AM set.For 50 years, this photograph—along with Goff\'s entire 225-image Woodstock archive—sat entirely unseen, tucked away inside a storage cabinet in his Milwaukee home. Following Mark Goff’s passing in late 2018, his daughters discovered the raw 35mm negatives. In 2019, the estate partnered with restoration expert Nick Clemente to scan and preserve these pristine, forgotten moments of music history for the very first time.This is sealed inside Clear Polypropylene Sleeve flap seal bag. The rigid backing keeping the photo completely flat is an Acid-Free, Buffered Kraft Backing Board, with secondary verification label on the back.
