James Upshall Handmade English Briar Bent Billiard Estate Pipe
Handmade James Upshall bent billiard crafted in England from attractive briar. The bowl displays appealing flame and cross grain with classic English proportions.
The pipe is stamped P / James Upshall /. The opposite side is stamped Tilshead / England / Made by Hand.
This pipe came from the estate of a longtime Chicago pipe enthusiast who maintained his collection carefully and kept the pipes ready to smoke. The chamber retains a thin, even cake of approximately 1/16 to 1/8 inch, and the rim shows only light darkening consistent with normal use.
