Authentic vintage glass bottle of pure Tennessee limestone spring water taken from the famous Cave Spring at the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee.
Historic background:
In 1884, Jasper Newton “Jack” Daniel purchased Cave Spring Hollow specifically for its pure, iron-free limestone spring water that flows at a constant cool temperature year-round. This water has been the essential ingredient in every drop of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey ever since. Filtered naturally through limestone, it is free of iron and other minerals that can spoil whiskey flavor. For a limited time the distillery bottled this same spring water as a souvenir for visitors and collectors. These bottles have become increasingly scarce.
This bottle features:
• Complete original black-and-white labels on both sides (front label fully intact and legible: “Tennessee Limestone Water – Taken from the Deep Running Spring of Jack Daniel’s Cave – Lynchburg, Tennessee”)
• Original black metal screw-top lid
• No chips, no cracks, no cracks in the glass
