Beautiful quality-made J.A. Henckels four-blade Congress, measuring approximately 3 5/8” closed. This is an especially attractive example featuring genuine stag handles, the classic red Zwilling Twin shield, and distinctive elongated stair-step bolsters that really set this pattern apart.
The stag is excellent on both sides, with plenty of natural color and character ranging from creamy ivory and golden tones to rich dark brown. The shield side displays the red Henckels Twin emblem beautifully, while the reverse has particularly nice bark and texture.
◆ BLADES: Four-blade Congress configuration with attractive blades and finish. Main blade is marked ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS / SOLINGEN GERMANY / HAND-HONED, with additional Henckels/Germany markings as photographed. Please examine the detailed blade photographs closely when evaluating edge condition and remaining finish.
◆ MECHANICS: All four blades have good snap with positive half stops and absolutely no blade wobble. Excellent mechanics throughout.
◆ HANDLES: Genuine stag handles with excellent natural color, texture and character. Classic round red Zwilling Twin shield. No cracks or chips detected.
◆ FRAME: Approximately 3 5/8” closed with brass liners and distinctive elongated stair-step bolsters. Nicely fitted, substantial construction characteristic of quality Solingen-made traditional pocket cutlery.
◆ CONDITION: Very clean collector-grade example showing only light evidence of handling/storage. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description and provide the best representation of overall condition.
