Hong Kong Disneyland released a series of egg-shaped enamel pins for Easter 2017 as an exclusive for members of its Magic Access annual pass programme. The run comprised six egg pins, five showing announced characters - Minnie Mouse, Cogsworth, Goofy, Dumbo and Stitch - plus one deliberately unrevealed mystery egg, which turned out to be Iron Man. They were sold at the resort only, over a short window from 16 March to 28 April 2017.The Iron Man egg carries an Iron Man Experience backstamp, tying it to the attraction that opened at Hong Kong Disneyland on 11 January 2017 - the first Marvel-themed ride at any Disney park anywhere in the world. That combination of a members-only Easter release, a hidden mystery character and a landmark Marvel debut makes this the pin collectors chase hardest out of the six, and it is rarely seen in the UK because it never left the Hong Kong park.Condition
Pre-owned in Good condition. The pin has been traded and handled and shows honest signs of use. There is light surface scuffing and fine scratching across the red enamel, most noticeable on the left-hand side and towards the lower edge, with a few small marks on the yellow helmet plate. The silver-tone metal borders carry several small nicks and rubs where the plating has been knocked, again mainly around the outer rim. The reverse shows scratching and general plating wear typical of a pin that has been on a lanyard or trading board. The enamel is intact with no chunks missing, all colour fill is present, and the rubber-back post on the reverse is straight and secure. Supplied loose, with a Mickey pin back.
