Indian Wars 1872 Canteen Reproduction Frost For Sale

Several have asked…here’s what I’ve got left! The last of my supplies for Indian Wars reproduction canteens, for now at least.

This canteen has it all. It is an 1858 corrugated “bullseye” body tin canteen with a late CW NY style capped cork modified with twisted brass loop spout ring and brass jack chain (one of the 1872 modifications for old stock Civil War canteens.) Comes covered in long extinct Family Heirloom Weavers Oxford on brown satinette wool and features a late Civil War inspector marked stamps. Satinette cover is entirely hand applied. A great facsimile of a very early Indian Wars period canteen made from using up leftover Civil War stock.

Only one available.
