Indian War uniform wool vest original 1866-1897 uniform vest . Six buttons
1860s Wool and silk uniform vest , with six buttons .
appear to be all original.
With original stitching . Possibly some repaired but long ago if so .
Condition s with some moth bites . But looks great other than that it's in great original shape .
I estm. the vest to be post CW but early Indian wars . Many must realize there were two wars going at once in that time period of 1861-1865 territorial wars and with the Confederate States . i'm appraising this by the thread around the buttons the color of it the thread used , how thick it is , especially fasten the buttons to hold the buttons on the buttons them selves .
The liner and pattern of the silk is fantastic as is the back of the vest . Also the liner used in the pockets and all original . No repairs . No id .
