* freight trains
* passenger trains
* stations
* towers
* buildings
* people
* detailed maps
* schedules

A few steam locomotives appear in this title - in color. Also quite a few passenger trains looking quite clean right up until the advent of Amtrak. Some photos include former GM&O power still in the original paint. Most images of IC power will be in the orange and white paint scheme, then the orange and gray paint will come in second place and the original and later all black paint will be about 10 percent of the photographs. There are many photographs of structures and locations. Color maps will show the track layout at junctions and yards. This is a very good publication for Illinois Central fans and those interested in railroading in the southern USA.
