This exquisite set by Hutschenreuther Selb Bavaria showcases the artistry and refinement that made Bavarian china renowned throughout the world. Featuring a richly detailed 22-karat gold encrusted filigree border against a warm ivory porcelain ground, each piece embodies old-world luxury and exceptional craftsmanship.
Produced between 1925 and 1939, this beautiful collection includes four 10-inch dinner plates and four 6-inch bread and butter plates. The ornate scrolling gold decoration creates a sophisticated presentation suitable for formal dining, display in a china cabinet, or incorporation into a curated collection of fine European porcelain.
The set remains in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs observed. As expected with authentic antique porcelain, there is gentle wear to portions of the 22K gold decoration consistent with age and careful use. The plates display beautifully and retain their striking visual impact!
