Rare vintage Hôtel Lotti Paris ashtray featuring a beautiful deep cobalt blue glaze with elegant “Hôtel Lotti ~ Paris ~” script around the rim.
Hôtel Lotti was a prestigious Paris luxury hotel established in 1910, located on Rue de Castiglione near the Place Vendôme and Tuileries. Throughout its history, the hotel welcomed an impressive list of notable guests, including Winston Churchill, Robert Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Paul McCartney, Paul Newman, Jane Fonda, Kirk Douglas, David Niven, and Jane Birkin, adding wonderful historical interest to surviving pieces of hotel memorabilia.
The underside retains its original French maker’s mark, “La G. Uzienne / S. Uze / Drome.”
Measures approximately 4.5 inches across.
Displays beautifully with no chips or cracks. Shows age-related surface wear, scratches and signs of use consistent with its age and original purpose. Please see photos for condition.
