Pair ofScandinavian Brutalist–Postmodern candleholdersfeaturing hand-forged iron bases and solid ice-glass inserts with visible air bubbles and cast texture. The design bridges mid-century Scandinavian Brutalism with the clean, sculptural geometry of earlyPostmodern studio workfrom the 1970s–1980s.
Each stands about10½″ tall, with glass inserts approximately4″ × 2⅛″ square. The iron bases are weighty and balanced, finished in a reddish-brown patina that beautifully contrasts with the clear glass.
High-quality studio craftsmanship, likely Swedish or Finnish, in theErik Höglund / Boda design tradition.
Excellent condition with only light wear to the metal; glass inserts are clear and free of damage.
