Sherrif Hoffman boasts, "I understand that you make the charge that you will escape from any straightjacket that is placed upon you. I take the liberty of challenging this statement and will be present, on Thursday evening next, at the Palace Theatre with a number of Deputies, to place you in a straightjacket, from which I believe, you cannot escape.
Believe me that I am right in my opinion!"
It turns out that the good sherriff underestimated Mister Houdini, as Harry sucessfully escaped on that Thutsday evening October 11, 1923.The Sherriff had to eat his own words.Printed on high quality 110 LB card stock.
