Peter's Description:
"Available only to Harmony Kingdom club members for 2022, this limited edition piece is based on “Have a Heart” which became my very first “Black Box”. I always thought the original subject matter was not that dark, all things considered. What I do find alarming is that I carved the original version of this piece over 25 years ago! Where did those years go? A lot has changed during that time and ‘taking offense’ will surely become an Olympic sport soon.
In keeping with the times, my meat and gristle eating scavenger has become (almost) vegetarian, whilst all the time dreaming of the bacon sandwich he craves, which you can find hidden inside this piece. Other secrets carved into the piece are ‘2 Little Ducks’ as a reference to the bingo phrase for 22 - the year it was released. ‘Helen Fowler’ is a reference to a beautiful pink water lily, bought for my birthday by my wife, Andrea. It is a rare variety, named after an American woman who was famous for her water lilies. If you look very carefully you will see my new hallmark for 2022 – two little ducks (see the bingo reference above!)."
