Handwritten ephemera (1892, 1908): $10.00
Handwritten ephemera (1892, 1908)
This poem is a variation of a traditional rhyme "The Sailor's Farewell" from the early 1800s. A sweet tribute to friendship as the writer sent it to her friend.
This apparently is a handwritten copy of a poem that was published in the 19th-century literary magazine The Knickerbocker, Vol. 10, No. 2, August 1837.
The last is a pencil written letter to Lottie. I like the section where the person writes "Your mother wants to write." and she starts off "Dear child..."
