The 1\" nickel silver medalis brand new with St Francis of Assisi with the wolf of Gubbio on the front and \"Pray for us\" on the back.The1-1/2\" gold-toned San Damiano crucifix has the traditional Old Testamentblessing in Latin\"Benedicat tio dominus etcustodate te ostendat faciem suam tibi et misereatus tua convertat yultum suumad te ut det tibi pacem dominus benedicat te.\" which means:\"TheLordbless you and keep you;theLordmake his face to shine upon you, and begracious to you;theLordlift uphis countenance upon you, and give you peace\".
The crucifix and the medal were made in Italy; the rosary itselfwas handmade by me in our home in the USA.
The eleven beads are all 8 mm, smooth, round, genuine semi-preciousgemstones. The ten Hail Mary beads are Leopard Jasper which has colors and markings that resemble the beautiful coats of both large wild felines and our own little housecats. The Our Father bead is a Green Adventurine.

St Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of our pets and other animals; he is alsothe patron saint of merchants,animal welfare, nature,peace, lace-makers and other needlework craftspeople,and Catholic Action.
The prayer cards which come with our rosaries, medalsand pictures are home-made, created using a \"greeting card\" programon a computer and printed in full color on nice quality paper. Although theyare not like the usual smaller professionally printed prayer cards, most of ourcustomers prefer them since they are like a pamphlet with 4 \"pages\"and several images, prayers, patronages and often other information about thesaint or Catholic devotion.
