This is a beautifully hand-painted folk art shoe shine box, signed and dated 1989 by artist Eileen Albrecht.

The box is decorated on multiple sides with warm Americana imagery, including an oak tree with acorns, pastoral cows, and rustic country scenes framed by a repeating acorn border. The artwork has a charming, naïve folk-art style and was clearly painted freehand rather than applied by transfer or decal.
