Hand Made Hallowe\'en Favors - Place Cd, Dance Cd, Program + Napkin 1912-13 For Sale

A grouping of mostly hand made Hallowe\'en favors found in a scrap album. The handmade items include an invitation from Arethusa (wood nymph) and Witch Cat jolly to an All Hallows Folly on October 25- adorned with a screeching black cat with orange eyes and mouth. A 1912 invitation with an applied crepe paper pumpkin on the cover. Black border with orange ribbon tie binding. Captioned Arethusa Oct. 25, 1912. Includes handwritten Program, Games and menu. (4 1/2\" x 2 1/2\". A 1913 dance card with a watercolor drawing of a young lady dressed in orange and black on the cover. Silk string tie with pencil attached. Printed Order of dance with 18 dances - 7 were accounted for as being danced.. A place card or perhaps fortune for a game with a cut-out and applied crepe paper candle. Penned note reads \"You long to be a leader--get a dog and chain\"Finally a 14\" x 14\" printed crepe paper napkin with a witch flying across the sky, her owl riding on the the broom straw and strings of jack-o-lanterns trailing down. The vignette at base depicts a terrified cat as a jack-o-lantern floats by with a crescent moon above. Fun lot!
